Interactive Session: How to Become Unforgettable: An Introduction to Magnetism and Courageous Storytelling - MONACO BRANDING AND CREATIVE
Remember that book you couldn't put down? That movie you didn’t want to end? Great storytelling is a skill that directly accesses the part of our brain that is built for recall. And the principles of storytelling are the same principles behind the brands we know and love.

In this interactive sessions gain an understanding of the tools required to move and inspire people with a clear, concise, and engaging story. You’ll learn to transcend “brand fog”—vague positioning and generic messaging—and unlock the power of your story by accessing newfound freedoms, directional possibilities and a natural urgency to create, including:

• Understanding brand as a story, and the power within it
• Clarity on how stories provide direct access to the parts of the brain built for recall
• Understanding how to build your unique story
• Presenting your story (and/or pitch) with new clarity and confidence
• Aligning your story with core values and vision

Interactive Session: Re-Aligning Self Awareness to Deal with Conflict Effectively - TOYAMA & CO.
Dealing with conflict is an essential step prior to coming to alignment but workplace conflict is inevitable. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, we will look at how to curb destructive behaviors so that conflict can become more productive, ultimately improving workplace results and relationships.

By increasing participants’ self-awareness around conflict behaviors, they will discover how to effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict.

Participants will:
  • Appreciate how their style of handling conflict affects the people around them
  • Learn how to “catch” themselves when going down a destructive conflict path
  • Discover how to reframe a conflict situation and choose more productive behaviors

Attendee Feedback, Recap from Day 1, & Chairs' Address: Corporate Communications Mini Hackathon - BRILLIANT INK
Armed with the strategies and ideas discussed throughout the conference, we’ll launch into an exciting mini “hackathon.” Participants will be divided into small teams, each with a specific corporate communication challenge. Each team will have 20 minutes to discuss their challenge statement and design a solution.

When time’s up, each team will have 3 minutes to present their concept, and we’ll select a winner – but everyone’s a winner because they’ll walk away with tools and ideas to bring back to their work, and we’ll share a summary of the solutions with all participants as a follow-up.
